How to reach The European Library Office

The European Library Office is based in the building of the Koninklijke Bibliotheek, the National Library of The Netherlands. The KB building is right next to the central train station (Den Haag CS).
Several building projects take place in the vicinity of the KB at the moment. This may have consequences for access routes to the library. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

By train / by foot
Use the side exit of platform 12 of Den Haag CS railway station. You will find signs telling you exactly how to walk to the main entrance of the KB. (It's just the big white building straight ahead of you).
For train time tables click on the logo.

By car
If you are planning to come by car, please contact The European Library Office first, at least 24 hours before your visit. You will need to give your license plate number and estimated arrival time, so that we can reserve a space in the car park for you.

By bus/tram
The bus and tram platforms are situated in the Central Station building. From the bus and tramp latforms (located one floor above the train platforms) you can already see the big white KB building. Please note that a lot of construction work is going on in and around the Central Station and the KB.
For information about tram tickets, time tables etc., please visit the HTM site (The Hague Tram Company).

By bike
You can park your bike at the main entrance of the KB.
