The exhibition moves from sight to sound with this fascinating collection of Romani recordings from the Phonogrammarchiv of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Listen to the oldest recording of the Romani language (made in Croatia in 1901) and hear music from singers like Šaban Bajramović. Then uncover more of their culture with the help of romani writers such as Mateo Maximoff, Elena Lacková, Ceija Stojka and Leksa Manuš.
